Upcoming Projects
We propose to start a training Centre for Nurses and Ward Boys. This
has become essential in order to create human resources that are
relevant for the treatment we offer to our patients and to ensure
prompt and efficient care, specially in life saving situations.
Inhouse training today is one of the most important and vital
aspects of human care of sick.
We propose to further promote schemes and involve professionals to
ensure quick and prompt care for emergency patients from Cardiac,
Neurology and severe infection.
Our experience with starting of HDU as a Step-down facility from ICU
has been an unique effort to this effect.
Our Hospital with the collaboration of The Radha Mohan Mehrotra
Medical Relief Trust, in future, will be one of the few Centres
where crippled arthritics may be offered other Joint Replacement
Surgery at affordable cost as a package deal.
It is proposed to have Centres for alternative medicines like
Acupuncture, Acupressure and other medical specialities like
Ayurveda and hopefully, in future, Homeopathy since chronic
disorders do need such therapies which have proved their application
with wide acceptance.
A facility for Dental care needs to be created. However, space has
been the main obstacle. Hopefully, if we are in a position to obtain
FSI with special permission for 7th
floor, we would initiate this facility at the earliest.
Some advanced diagnostics like MRI which are very expensive, need to
be offered to our members. To this effect, we have signed a
Memorandum of Understanding with Satellite Diagnostics to offer our
members and patients special rates which will be substantially less
than those prevailing in the market.
We will continue to make efforts to offer to our patients and
members, super-speciality care, by having MOUs with Institutions
which have facilities which we do not have.
Efforts are also on to reach an understanding with various Insurance
Companies to create cashless admission facilities for patients in
our Hospital.
With the commissioning of new equipment like state-of-the-art
Ophthalmic Microscope; we will be offering complete Retinal Surgery
along with enhanced cataract surgery.
To achieve all this, members must realize that we need to raise
finances. We need to change our approach with the challenges and
aspirations of our hospital. We need to study, modify and propose
new ideas & schemes. We need to adopt various alternatives to our
working by amending Bye-laws which, only the members can do.
This
is the essence of co-operation.
